Technically, your figure is not a rectangle as a rectangle is the same length on opposite sides. This is merely a quadrilateral.

While it's a little involved, the area can be found by breaking down the quadrilateral into a number of triangles. You would need four of them. You can then use trigonometry or simply measure to determine the bases and heights of the triangles, then you use the formula A = 0.5 * (base) * (height), and finally add up the area of the four triangles.

It's not a rectangle then, only a quadrilateral.

What you do, is you break the rectangle up into pieces, like trianlges, and you measure the triangles and add them together.

It's simple enough in actaullity, and I'm no mathmatician or geometrist. It only appears hard, and first glance. Once you figure out how, it becomes quite easy.

That's not a rectangle, that's a quadrilateral.
We can't tell given this information. There are any number of quadrilaterals that could have sides of those measures.

Technically, it is not a rectangle any more, but i think take the two longest sides and find heir square footage, then add the square footage of the two smaller ones. This probably won't work, though.
