there are about 5000 or so households that have these things on there houses and when ever the tv is turned on the family members agree to set the thing and put in how many people are watching and what chanel and the age of the viewers then it sends the info to the cable company and they get ratings and the familys get like a 1000 dollers or somthing for there troubles and every year they switch

they send out forms with different programs to watch for a week,and u mark the ones u are watching,and send it back they PAY UUUU !!!!

i think they send these vcr-looking machines (i don't know what they're called) and they record what you watch.

i think they also send questionnaires to homes and they write down what they watch.
