She is famous because she is the heiress to one of the greatest american dynasties in history and she doesn't mind being in the spotlight . I've heard her new album . Paris Hilton CAN sing , the album is a work of art . But it doesn't really matter anyway , she's already rich and famous , it's not like she's lookin' for job .

Easy, it's the unbridled stupidity of American popular culture in general. Paris wouldbe filthy rich if she never spent a day in the press, but now she is clocking major dough for absolutely nothing. All that being said, she did get major cool points and sympathy when her ex put out that sex video. But still she is one of the leading examples of our trash culture. Legions of kids think getting every and anything you want is normal, and that only drives frustration and depression because we are mostly struggling just to pay the rent.
Most of all I hate that entire shows are devoted to gushing over everytime a celeb parks their car or trips over their shoelaces.
This is one chick that is going to take it hard as she ages.

She's just a celebrity and rich becuase her parents are like billionares who own the Hilton Inn Hotels, so she just lives off her parents money, wich means she gets better oppurtunities. And yeah she makes me sick too but she looks good. I just get sick of her spoiled self.

I have no clue....I mean, she is pretty much invading every single element of American....pop culture I guess, by....doing nothing!!!! gasps..lol..I mean, she is famous just for being..thats soo wrong. She can;t sing ( i heard her entire album was recorded with auto-tune..lol), she can;t really act like anyone except Paris ( ie...House of Wax...umm..yeah), she just does nothing....how did that happen. I think that it is a sign of the turn that American Pop culture is taking..that people actually like her..that she seems to be representing America to the world...dunno..I think she should just go away and stop trying to do things she can;t do but won;t be turned away from just cuz of her daddy's money

The only reason she's a celebrity is cuz her dad is rich i guess she must have heard the rumours that she didnt do anything to get famous so she got that tv show and now makin a cd so she can have some reason why she famous

But she's known for partying a lot along with some Hollywood stars, dating many different guys, and stealing people's boyfriends.
What I can't stand the most about her is the way she talks.
