Sir William Wallace was 35 years old, he was executed in 1305. He was hanged but released from the noose near death, then beheaded and cut into four parts. His head was placed on a pike atop the London Bridge.
A really cool side-note is that historian David Ross walked 450 miles to commemorate the anniversary of Wallace's death. Also, there was a symbolic funeral to mark the anniversary.
Imagine having someone walk 450 miles to celebrate your life 700 years after you were killed, that's pretty amazing.

He died August 23, 1305. But since his birth date is only listed as "circa 1270", we can only approximate his age at death (around 35 years old)
