I think it goes through the whole pregnancy. I am pregnant with my first and it was the first symptom I noticed. I though maybe I had diabetes or something because my dad and my sister do. I didn't know it was a symptom of pregnancy and that you get it at the very beginning. I thought you only got it at the end when the baby got big and was pressing on the bladder more. I think it might lessen in the 2nd trimester but I'm really just guessing. I imagine everyone is different. But I know it is totally normal for you to be experiencing it now. I am now 11 weeks and I still have to pee OFTEN. Good Luck!

I now have two beautiful little girls and yes as soon as I found out I was pregnant I had to go pee every few minutes and I started waddling too. I believed by the second pregnancy that it was mostly in my mind. The excitement of being pregnant has led to the early onset of the typical pregnancy symptoms.
Oh yeah and if you are a very small framed person it could be real, any pressure onto your bladder can cause the urge.
Congrats on your pregnancy!

It'll go away in the beginning but look foward to it coming back when you get further along!! I had this too but it was only during the day when I was awake...at night I was fine and could sleep right through. That was one of the ways I knew I was pregnant! But now I am 38 weeks and go like every half hour sometimes less and am up most of the night on the tiolet!! You're not alone! It'll go away but in time come back to be worse!!

It might last most of your first trimester. Then you get a break during your second trimester, but just wait til the third trimester. My baby is still in breech position and is constantly kicking my bladder which makes it that much worse. I read somewhere once that we have to go to the bathroom so much (especially at night) when we are pregnant because our bodies are preparing us to be jumping up every few minutes to care for newborns.

I did and it doesnt go away until after u've had the baby and the pressure is lifted off of ur bladder. Sorry hun. Id say try emptying ur bladder as frequent as u can not just when the urge is there. That way when u are stuck in a situation where its inconvient u'll be okay for atleast alittle while. BTW CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Have a happy and healthy 9!!! :)

Yes Yes and Yes, Its the most amazing thing and at night I get up about five times or better...Now I've tried limiting my beverages after a certain time of day...But it still doesn't seem to help This is just a typical sign of pregnancy sweetie...Welcome to the club, you'll get used to it..But a lot of women say that sometimes it goes a way at a later stage. Its different for everyone.

Yup, you're pregnant.
Ask your doctor, this is a normal thing. If you pee too much, you may have a bladder infection. A real doctor should be able to tell you if your rate is normal for you or not.

It's normal.I'm 6 weeks pregnant.I don't have to urinate that often..you could have a UTI..those are very common. But everyones pregnancy is different..some people have that symptom right off..but my sister didn't until she was 7 months pregnant.
