I have 20 rolling acres in Ohio and would love to have a small business on it But can't think of what? Help

we are out in the country but have a high school about 3 miles up the rd..There are several pizza places around we are 6 miles from the main town.open for anything please help

I cannot imagine 20 acres of rolling hills in that part of Ohio. I used to think if you looked hard enough you could see Philly from there as it was so flat.............but as to small business you first must make sure you are ok to run a business at your location. Local produce is a good seasonal thing but growing is very costly and time consuming. Animal rescue would be my first thing to look into as I love animals and they always need our help. If you are on the main road into Cleveland or any bigger town you might think of an espresso place or small bakery with coffee to go. Flowers are a great source of revenue as well as growing food so there are endless possibilities and I wish you good luck in whatever you decide to do there in the rolling (lol) hills of Ohio. I know they roll in southern Ohio for sure..............You could sell tickets to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame or something as an added perk.......You know what they say, " What is high in the middle and round at both ends" Ohio.........go for it!

I am kinda having the same problem. I have about 50 acres between a golf course and highway frontage. I am thinking about building a small cottage or two to rent out as vacation getaways. Maybe even making some four wheeler trails through it also. Maybe that may be an option for you if you have the time and money to invest in it. Those two factors seem to be my only problem.

You could have a guest house or B&B...or a guest farm ..... even with coffee shop and meals... get some tame horses for guests to ride....some domestic animals for kids... etc....or a craft shop with the coffee shop....
