This movie is based on a book written by Nicholas Sparks. This author also wrote the book "The Notebook". I think this book is a fiction book. If its non-fiction, that was a really sad story.

Yeah - and the book is a lot better! It's by Nicholas (not William) Sparks - and he's got some other awesome books out as well. (You may have seen The Notebook or Message in a Bottle. He wrote those too.)
True story? I think in the book it is dedicated to someone who had cancer or something but I don't know if the whole story is true or not.

Yes, it is a book by Nick Sparks who also wrote The Notebook which is another great movie. A Walk To Remember is based about Nick's sister's life.

Nicholas Sparks. I don't think its a true story or else in the preview it wouldve said "based on a true story." My friend is reading the book. She said it's really cute.

Yes, it is a book. I read it and it was really goood. I love the movie too. You like get touched by it. You should watch "The Notebook" too. I think its better.
