I'm in Norway right now and I want to go to Russia for a week before I return home to the US. Can I fly from here or do I need a visa first???

Yes and you need to be "invited". You can get travel agencies or hotels to do this for you and then the papers come quickly. I think you can pay extra and get it in like 24 hours. If you are going to visit someone then they can invite you. If you want to know more details then check out the Russian Consulite in the US website or call the Consulate in Norway. It would have to be processed at the one in Norway anyway.

mandatory you want a passport and a visa from each and every u . s . on earth settle for Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan so that you're going to choose a visa, contact your interior sight russian embassy, ive utilized for this before, they ask a good type of questions, one mistake and they are going to deny you the visa looks cool on your passport
