Ha-ha! My mom always used to say, "He had good teeth", when speaking of former boyfriends/prospective husbands! It obviously stems from measuring someone's health by what shape their teeth are in. Poor diet and accidents cause bad teeth and can indicate other health problems.
Prior to dentists, bad teeth could be a death sentence, so it's a leftover survival mechanism. Also, good teeth are just better looking!

Only if your mate is a horse. Unless she was a gift, in which case it is rude to check the teeth. Oh yes I forgot: if she's English they will matter as well.

YES!!! I used to work with a couple who began having an affair, and he was missing 5 teeth at the time, with more to be pulled! I thought it was so gross - - who wants to kiss a person who lets their mouth literally rot away and doesn't care enough to fix it? Plus, rotting teeth have a terrible odor. Want to wake up next to that every morning? Ugh! I can keep going, but I hope you get the picture.

If what matters inside to you is most attractive. then no. But if your a person that likes a person for tip-top perfect lookks, then yes. Love them for who they are, not their looks. Because think about it...we're all gonna get old and have bad teeth anyways.

my mama is obsessed w/ teeth. that's the 1st thing she says about anyone, esp men.For ex., that new reporter on (whatever) channel. He's cute, and he has nice teeth!
I don't get it. I mean yellow teeth are gross, but maybe it has some sort of darwinian basis like facial symmetry etc.

yes, if the other person has bad teeth, then I think that says a lot about that person. Maybe they don't take care of anything else either.

I would say the more teeth the better. Chompers are good. I really do not look for teeth myself, but do take note.

Depends. If they have no teeth.. [no comment] :O But if they dont brush their teeth, Their gums will get sore and slowly start to collapse, they will need surgery to get a certain part taken out of their mouth and put into their gums. then you will have to take special care of them until their mouth heals. it happened to my dad. and besides, when you kiss them, you dont want a taste of everything they ate that day.. do you? o_O

I'd like to say no, it's all about the personallity... which is true but i can't kiss someone who has bad teeth... *shudder* it freaks me out. And relationships aren't much if you won't kiss him.
