There is a great quote from Labrinth that pretty much sums this up.

Jared: "It's not fair? You say that so often. I wonder what your basis for comparison is."

Where is anything "fair"? Although I will say it does get tiring to hear young people complain when life is unfair while they sit in an expensive car, house or neighborhood while wearing designer clothes. How they can assume life is unfair to them while only a few miles or even just a few BLOCKS may divide them from children in tenements whose parents can't afford designer clothes, ANY car or even decent food for meals?

Anytime someone starts thinking how unfair their life is they should consider that there is ALWAYS someone else who has, or has had, life far worse than you do.

I agree with Lady D - some people have no idea how good they have it. Fair/unfair is totally relative.

How do we judge fair? Is a murderer being given 5 years in jail fair? Is the price of petrol/gas fair? Is it fair that a man gets paid more than a woman for doing the same job? Is it fair that the USA invaded Iraq?

All these things depend on your perspective. If we're talking about fair on a personal level, then it becomes about attitude. There will always be whiny people who say 'Why me??'. I reckon, 'why NOT me?'.

Life always seems unfair if you are judging it. The trick is not to judge and accept.

Thinking in terms of fairness can be correlated to EGO_ centric
thinking.That says HEY ! The world and all in it should rotate about me and serve my wants and needs.
There would be a lot less anger and dispair in the world if Human Beings could realize this in the moment of such a Query in relation to others and events that affect our daily lives.

No It's a test.

No not at all! But it seems that way when Yahoo makes you log back in to answer one of these questions. In particular the last dancing with the devil question. Does that mean Yahoo is on to me...

We can't decide it out of one or two experiences what life is.Life is something vast and deep too.For me life is beyond being fair or unfair.It is just to be lived and enjoyed.

~~~unfourtunatly sometimes it may seem unfair,,,but we all have the will to "choose" a path to go down,,,,
Try to take the "never expect anything" attitude,,,,that way when something good comes your way that you didnt expect,,,well,,,gives you a bit of sunshine in your day,,,,~~~~
