All free Anti Virus programs have big holes in their security. DO you want to run the risk of having to reformat your hard drive in order to save $30.00 per year? Get Panda Anti Virus/Anti Spyware, it is the best, and not expensive, and will give you protection that far exceeds any free program out there.

hi, perhaps you can try Norton or Mcafee to remove the virus, but you should pay for the software.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

AVG is totally worthless. It is JUNK. I recommend antivir free edition.

AVG is over rated. Try antivir (http://www.freeav.com/ ) or avast (http://www.avast.com/ ) .
