I am pretty much sure it is not a Hobo or Brown Recluse, but I am still concerned that it may be poisonous

Your photo looks like a Wolf Spider, Family Lycosa, which are hunting spiders that chase down their prey. They have very good eyesight, and your photo shows the well developed eyes nicely. The females are extremely maternal, carrying the egg sack around under their bodies, and then carrying the young newly hatched spiderlings around on their bodies for several days after hatching.

It's too big for a brown recluse and all together wrong.
Around here we call them wood spiders, I live in Indiana, where do you live? Possibly wolf spider or a tarantula spiderling.

It's got some good info on it. They have a questionaire on the Kentucky Spider site, that asks you where you found it and other basic questions and helps in identifying. Good luck.

if it was anywhere near me, it'd be called a dead spider. actually, i agree with the wood spider opinion. although it does bear a resemblance to a tiny tarantula. definitely don't think it's a brown recluse (little bastards, one bit me this spring. took a week for the swelling to go down)
