My thoughts:
He's ok, I don't find him cute or anything. I haven't seen Pirates of the Carribean, but I've seen his older stuff. I saw the first Pirates movie, but I found that boring....my parent's liked him in Edward scissor hands. I didn't.

he's not that good looking but has gotten hella popular because of pirates.
I didnt know he starred in other movies before Pirates, it seemed as though he was a new face that just blew up!
so I know his fame is deserved, he worked for it.
I 've never seen pirates so I dont know that much about his acting.

Johnny Depp is so yummy. He is a great talented character actor. He is so much more than eye candy. I am a huge fan of him all the way back to "Cry-Baby".

I like him in the Pirates of the Carribean, but I don't think he's cute or anything. I also things he's really good when he plays as Jack Sparrow. He' only okay.

Quite simply, he is the sexiest man I ever laid eyes on!
On top of that, he is the most versatile actor ever. Just take a good look at the types of roles he's taken on. He transforms himself completely from one character to the next!
I have nothing but the highest respect for him as a human being, as well. He's down-to-earth, and very modest about his accomplishments. None of that phoney "I'm-a-big-star" BS about him whatsoever! I love that about him. Although I've never had the great honor and privilege to meet him, I've heard all good things about how he relates to his fans. From what I hear, he goes OUT OF HIS WAY to show them his love and appreciation for putting him on top. THIS is the kind of star who is DESERVING of all the success in the world.
I absolutely LOVE the man!!!!!!!!!!!
(BTW - My favorite movies of his are "BLOW" first - and then, "Secret Window" second. Even the movies I DON'T like so much seem good with HIM in them!)

u have no taste, sorry but I liked both. I think he's a very good actor. I'm not into his looks, I like a more Orlando Bloom look. Yes, he is like as old as my dad, he might be younger, so that is also why I picked Orlando Bloom. But I can see how he is cute. Except in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. U forgot that movie. And Corpse Bride. I liked both of those.

Gorgeous and a great actor and man... He and Tim Burton make great movies together... If you haven't been an outsider, picked on or hated, you might not relate enough to Edward Scissorhands... Try a different film! Johnny NEVER compromises who he is for anyone which is great (and makes him a good role model on how to deal with insecurity)...

Johnny Depp is the Cary Grant of the 21st century! Suave, debonair, sophisticated, intelligent, witty, good looking, charming, able to play any role he takes on AND he is a dedicated family man who lives a quiet and simple life away from the surrealistic ways of Hollywood. Who could ask for more? Like Grant before him, he took a troubled upbringing and youth and turned them, along with himself, into pure gold!!!!!

There's something about him I find appealing. He is not classically handsome, but he has this unique quality. I like him in his quirky films, like Gilbert Grape, Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood to name a few.

i used to think he was the hottest thing on earth lol but he's cute now I'm over it lol I think he is a really good actor bcuz with some actors you can tell they are acting but with him he gets so into his character that you really get into his movies he's good at what he does and he not your average actor he's not using his looks to improve his career he's always had that bad boy look and he not using it to sell movies like some actors do but hey that's just my opinion take it or leave it he's cute and he's a good actor is what i think of him good question
