As recently as the spring of 2006, there were unsubstantiated reports circulating the internet that Cher was dating television star Lee Tergesen.
In August of 2006, it was announced that Cher, in conjunction with Sotheby's and Julien's Auctions, was intending to auction about 700 of her peronal possessions from her Italian Renaissance-themed Malibu estate, including numerous antiques and art collectibles, paintings, career memorabilia, furniture (including her bed) as well as numerous pieces of jewellery, clothing and stage costumes and her 2003 H2 Hummer. She has said that she expects the event to raise at least 1 million dollars, of which a large sum will benefit the Cher Charitable Foundation.
Currently, Cher is involved with Operation Helmet and appeared with Dr. Bob Meaders (founder of Operation Helmet) on C-Span again on June 14, 2006. She then appeared with him on Capitol Hill on June 15, 2006. It has been reported that Cher has so far donated over $130,000 to Operation Helmet

Cher is doing well. She is still around, not too long ago, she recorded a dance hit called, Life After Love" or "Believe", and she has had other hits. I don't think she'll ever be a "has been".

Cher is currently having her genes rearranged in a revolutionary genetic experiment. Let's hope they make her eighteen again. She'll be even more fun the second time around!

Probably touching up some plastic surgery. Strapping some more tape to her chin. Pick up the latest Star magazine. There's a picture of her in there with a beauty mask on her face. Seriously.
