Now they want me to purchase full version to clean. THAT MEANS THIS IS NOT TOTALLY FREE. Where Can I Get a FREE Adware/Spy cleaner?

ummmmmmmm I have had spybot for years and never had anyone ask for payment. It is a free cleaner.
Go to http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html
It shows no limitations and free. Try unistalling what you have now and click on the link above. If you loose the link, just go to download.com and in the search put spobot. It will come up.
Also, if you go to download.com, put in the search box "spyware" and you'll get choices. But try the one I first said and go from there. But don't forget to uninstall the original first.

You went to a scam site to download it. Using the makers site or a safe download site will get you the totally free version. I recommend using these two download site.

Both of these site give Spyware and scam free downloads guaranteed by the site
Uninstall the Spybot you have and download it from one of the two above sites. During the setup procedure turn on the Tea Timer feature. This is what turns on Spybot to provide active full time protection. Otherwise, it is only good as a scanner for detection and removal.

There are people creating problems that do not need to be created and people trying to profit by creating solutions that do not entirly work. I use adaware se in conjunction with microsft defender and that seems to keep me free of spyware.
