Out of these countries, there are 16 that recognize the Queen as the Head of State (no political power) and they are: Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, The Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Grenada, Jamaica, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Soloman Islands, Tuvalu, and of courser the United Kingdom.
The remaining 31 States are Commonwealth Republics with their own Heads of State.
The remainig members are realms with their own monarchs; Brunei, Lesotho, Malaysia, Swaziland, and Tonga. They do recognize the Queen as Head of the Commonwealth.
Countries that are still under British Rule; Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
As for which countries did Britain used to rule (the British Empire), all the member states of the British Commonwealth, plus France, USA, Nertherlands, Newfoundland (didn't join Canada until 1949), Hong Kong, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. I think I might be missing one or two.
