would love to make custom layouts for my self for xanga/ myspace, etc. are there any fool proof [free] tutorials available for use? and are there any art programs i need on my computer to create them?

Depending on how deep you want to go....If you simply want something pretty with not much thought having to be taken there are plenty of myspace page editors...for serious coding you can try dreamweaver set to strict coding layout rather then design coding and copy and paste it to notepad and then over to myspace...but myspace uses CSS coding the field of web coding you're interested in won't help your cause much in the end...hope this helps..

If you have a Neopets screen name they have their own really good http guidebook. And if you don't then just make a screen name and stuff, it's totally free. I've never yet seen another http guide out there.
