Question #1 - Does anyone know where I can download free ad-aware or spy bot updates?

Answer -

Actual websites you can go to; to download updated definition files for Ad-Aware SE and Spy Bot are listed below, but I would really recommend that you update both of these programs using the programs themselves to prevent any problems. Problems like downloading the wrong definition file. In the next 2 paragraphs I'll tell you how.

Ad-Aware SE:
To download updates inside Ad-Aware look for the graphic of the Earth with a ring around it (located on the top-right side of the program) and click it. Another window will pop-up and click on "Connect."

Spybot:
For updates to Spybot, inside Spybot look for a list of menu's on the left-side - "Spybot-S&D," Settings, "Tools," & "Info & License." Click on "Spybot-S&D," and then look down and to the right where you can click on "Search for Updates."

Question #2 - Or any free anti virus things?

Answer:

For free anti-virus software I've provided a few free anti-virus programs you can download. But I really wouldn't recommend this as free means "you get what you pay for" so it may not be the best. Instead go buy something in the store or online. But the links are provided.

hi, perhaps you can try Norton or Mcafee to remove the virus, but you should pay for the software.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:
