Will a 12hp briggs from a craftsman fit on a murray that had a 10hp briggs on it?

OF COURSE!!!
To give you an example....... I just replaced the engine on one of my own, the old engine was a briggs and stratton SINGLE cylinder 12hp engine.... the replacement was a TWIN apposed cylinder 18hp briggs.... will bolt up to the same holes and everything... even the stack pulley.....
just don't expect the wiring to be the same, you may have to swap that as well.
