I want to know, um why does the taskmanager symbol appear at the bottom of my screen where the start button is and whenever I put my cursor near it it dissapears. It is not on. Then, I do pull up task manager and there is this process called cftmon.exe and i have no idea what it is, my spy sweeper always asks if i would like to eliminate the process and when i do on spy sweeper or task manager it always comes back. What should i do about that? I am certainly not running that process. It just pops up and when i get rid of it my computer runs faster. What is cftmon.exe?

Lol it sounds like you either havea deep spyware program or virus. First off u cant use spysweeper to get rid of it because its not a real removal program. I can give you two solutions to your problem. Either If you dont know much about computer try to get a Virus Scan of somesorts (Norton, Mcafee, Etc.). Or if you know a decent amount about computers you may know what programs you need in the task manager to run your computer properly, if this is the case go to google and look up "Hijackthis" It is a program which when run connects directly to your task manager and has a list of everything running on your computer at the moment even things your normal task manager doesnt show up. Run the file and you should be able to find that virus thats bugging you and delete it permantely and if you did it right and got all the bad files, your computer should be working fine in no time :P

ctfmon.exe is a process belonging to Microsoft Office Suite. It activates the Alternative User Input Text Input Processor (TIP) and the
Microsoft Office XP Language Bar. This program is a non-essential system process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.

Note: The ctfmon.exe file is located in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. In other cases, ctfmon.exe is a virus, spyware, trojan or worm

Do an online virus scan at TredMicro to be sure.

That's the very good reason to have "Norton" antivirus. Make sure is new they only last 12 months!! Your computer will remind you.
