how can a guy's voice be so normal sounding and then suddenly so deep over a period of about three months (let's say summer)

during puberty, teenage guys change your voice and that is when they go from a lil boy to a man. when there are done with puberty, their voices will b less irratiing to us and sound normal and you will see that he has an adam's apple in his throat. i hate when guys change their voices too. it's so low! agh but that's nature
