does anybody put a question in the wrong category to see if you will get more answers because u think its a change up for the people in that category

Category's can be good if you want a professional opinion.
I like the idea of giving everyone equal opportunity to questions so giving best answer seems more fair.

I've seen it done, I guess I assumed it was by mistake. But I've given some of my better answers to questions that seemed to be in the wrong category.

So , tell me , sport...."Do you cheat a checkers ? " Do you have visions of grandeur that you will accidentally invent a new category that will be implemented by Yahoo and will make you filthy rich or do you just have a problem following rules and guidelines? You must answer in 10 seconds , beginning ...now * * * * * * * * * * *...ooh.....times up. I guess you also have trouble thinking with clarity. Sorry about your luck !

Questions put in wrong category are not necessarily got more answers.... Imagine a house to let advertisement being put in a business opportunity column? :)

probably not, but the reason i sometimes do is like of formal education,and computer know how. i have noticed this myself. however you must remember that everyone on the web does not have a high school education and this definately does not make them stupid. one of my reasons for using this website is to try to learn more than i already know

No I don't. I assume that the people most likely to have the BEST answer will answer in the right folder. I don't care how many answers I get--I just want ONE GOOD ONE.
