Stupidly enough, yes.

Many companies have a threshold of A Level "points" aswell as a degree for getting on their graduate trainee courses.

If you're worried about your A level points apply to smaller firms aswell - they can be less fussy.

BTW I thought they had dummed-down A levels so much these days you got an A for turning up. Not like in my day, then you had to EARN an A level, and work down t'pit. Kids these days......

Most would assume that you have A levels in order to have gained entry into University

Yes. Prospective employers are interested not only in your degree subject but also in the other subjects you have studied and what level you attained.
