I cant use BitComet etc from my new campus accomadation. It seems to be blocking the ports needed by the P2P programs. Is there any way around this?

I think there are only two ways:
(1) Talk to the person which handled with your campus router to include your IP to his list of access behind router.
(2) Just make a P2P which is FTP based and not winsock based...

I also making P2P programs which I don't need to talk to the person in charge of our router, unfortunately not successful yet...
