Ratio is from Latin for reason and is the fixed or approximate relationship between two things. A constant ratio would not change. Ordinary humans have two legs and the fixed (constant) ratio is two to one (body) or 2/1. For a horse the constant ratio would be 4/1 (four legs per horse).

Constant Ratio is a constant fraction!

Ex. If the constant ratio is 0.5 and the smallest of the two numbers is 2 the other one is 2/0.5
