I have been sick this summer. I first had my gallbladder out about two months ago and then shortly after that, I was diagnosed with viral meningitis. I have noticed that for the last few weeks that there is a lot more hair in the shower drain when I am done showering and when I run my fingers through it wet, quite a bit comes out. Should I be concerned?

Sorry to hear about that. I don't know a lot about Viral Meningitis, but it could be that your feeling very stressed from being sick and having to go through all this in one small period of time. I recommend for your own comfort to look up as much on the Internet about meningitis and then if your not satisfied with what you find go to the doctor.

Yes I would...this could be a defiency in your diet (minerals and vitamins) or some type of medical problem related to your recent illness or surgery. I would talk with your doctor and have an exam. It could be simply reversed with the right medication.
