I'm neither. I don't believe in the party vote. I feel that's how America gets in bad situations within the country. Not all candidates of one party have the same values or beliefs and especially don't believe in doing what's best for America. The best candidate is always the one that's going to do the most for American people and America itself.
That said, I support Bush. He's made lots of mistakes, but he's standing by his beliefs. He doesn't deserve to be labeled "the worst President" like some try to do, but he's not the best either. Unlike the Democrat before him that had NO morals and is married to someone just as corrupt in Congress. He's also better than the Democrat he ran against in the last election. Kerry could never remember which side of his mouth he was talking from. I also supported dad Bush. My 2 fave presidents were Dems....JFK and FDR. As I said, I don't believe in a party. I believe in the person and what they can do for us. Especially if they can stand behind their actions.

Republican!
(Also proud of it.) I am about to go put out signs for a Republican candidate for senate. Want to help?
And to answer catarina, I do vote issues and that means I vote for the Republicans most of the time. When I chose to vote for a Democrat is always because I don't think the Republican is a real Republican, meaning they are in the same party as me but don't share my values.
So there Miss Prissy!

I am a Republican and I will only vote Democrat if the candidate come from the same city I reside in, even if it is for the Office of President of the United States of America.

I am not registered as a Republican nor a Democrat. Now can you show me in black and white what a Republican or a Democrat really is or stands for and I would be able to answer your guestion more clearly. I would really like to see in writing (and I mean concrete evidence) of what constitutes being a Republican or a Democrat.

First of all, I have no idea how or why you are "proud" of your choice in political parties. You haven't accomplished anything to be proud of--it's just a political party! That's like saying you're proud of buying gas at Texaco. Second, the sad state of American politics is espoused in your question, the mere fact that you asked if people were a republican or a democrat, completely ignoring all the other political parties out there. That's what the two party system is counting on--first, that Americans are brainwashed (like you), and second that the masses are never informed of the two party scam, or that other options exist. They try their damndest to keep third parties out of the debates and off the ballots. I am a libertarian. I hope one day you wake up, and walk out of the fog you're currently in, and realize the us versus them democrat versus republican battle is nothing more than a carefully orchestrated ruse by both parties to keep each other in power.

I am a Democrat
Thanks for the 2 points, but seeing that you are a Republican, I am guessing I will not be given the 10 points for best answer.

I have a brain and use it to focus on the issues, that means I am an independant I will vote for the person that I believe to have the best interest of the voters in mind. if you vote a straight party ticket you are an absolute imbecile, a danger to this country and humanity in general.
