The best movie ever is the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. But, if you're looking for a good Saturday Afternoon or Night movie, check out Crash (for serious), Young Frankenstein (Mel Brooks version, very funny), or The Princess Bride (for romance/funny).

Me, I'll go for a rerun of Casablanca, Naked Lunch, 2201 A Space Oddessy, Metropolis (Moroder version, thank you), American Astronaut or Airplane.

Depends on your mood and intellect and interests. There's my two-bits and my two points....
