maybe if you ask easier questions. most of the ppl that get lots of answers arent asking anything they really want an answer to, they've already got their mind made up......
"why are liberals this..... why are neocons that..... why dont ppl believe in jesus...... why do ppl believe in god....?"
those ppl usually just want to hear someone agree with them. when you ask something that actually makes someone think, you're likely to get less answers.

That sure is a tough one. I think it is because you realize that it is not the number of answers that matters, it is the quality of the answers you get. If that doesn't answer your question, take a look at the other 40 + answers to your question.
Interesting how your kind of question inspires everyone to answer. Makes me want to stand outside with a sign that says, "why do I keep standing on this corner, holding this sign asking for money, when no one ever gives me any!"

This is a Psychology question by the way you classified it.
I did not look at your profile or history, but I can say that the people who get a LOT of answers, like the celebrities (Donald Trump, Cindy Crawford, etc., )
are the ones who ask generic, silly, self-serving questions.
So, you are at least being HONEST..
A dozen or so answers, is enough.

Why are you asking questions? Do you really want answers? Is it a real question or just something you made up? Are you just bored? Are you lonely? What difference does it make if you get a lot of answers? Do you get at least one good answer? I guess I can't answer your question!

Well, if you are taking the time to notice that your past question history doesn't show many answers, maybe you like to analyze things to death. I like to analyze things as well - I feel like I have more control that way for some reason lol..... hope you get lots of answers this time so you can analyze your little ole heart out!!

If you want alot of answers then you need to ask racist, sexist, politically incorrect questions. I too have noticed that those who get the most answers are generally asking the most ridiculous questions. It seems that the answerers out here generally don't want to have to think or they want to rant for one side or the other or they just want to put in their two cents in order to get their two points.
Continue asking the questions that are of interest to you. I'd much rather have six intelligent answers than 26 idiotic ones.

If you dont get answers according to the history of your questions and answers it must be because they were irrelevant or pointless or due to subjects lacking interest.

You ask a fair question. Could be a number of reasons. Could be people do not want to answer the question. Could be people don't know how to respond to your questions so they don't. Could be that they have seen this very same type of question before and don't care to answer it again. Could be a number of things.
I suspect, that folks will see this question however, and anser it, just as I did.

You like attention. I know that I don't answer every question I read. If I already feel there is a good answer, I don't bother because that would be point gaming.
