You are a good friend. But from experience, I can honestly say you cannot force her to drop him. She has to be able to understand herself and why she needs and puts up with this kind of treatment, e.g. low self-esteem and an abusive childhood can lead to her feeling that she doesn't deserve better in her life.
I don't know her background, but she would truly benefit from having more positive experiences in her life, reaching her own goals which would lead to more self-esteem and more confidence. Good luck and take care of yourself.

SLAP HER ***....throw water on her face..i dont care..is she kidding? is she out of her senses...omg I dont believe this....ask her to change cities...there is so much love a guy can give to a girl (like i give so much love to my gf) that she cannot be stuck in this situation she needs to experience the real love and ****...is she on drugs...seems like shes isnt thinking clearly thats why she needs to change cities or like party every night or hookup with a better guy...and report the guy to the police...but then again like someone said some people are into that kinda stuff which is a very low percentage...theres one lifetime how can she be wasting it on that guy...good first step that she dumpeb him...next step is a few girls night out...if you two are bisexual then you can have some fun there LOL but otherwise wait around for an intelligent rich smart guy and boost her ego a little bit ...goodluck and good thought about thinking of helping her out...sweet of you...and thanks that you think I might look cute in either calvin klein glasses or contact lenses lol

This is what she may think she is right for her even if she knows it is wrong. The best way to help is not bag on her and ask her to seek professional help. There is a issue she needs to find and throw away, a professional can help with this
I am lucky I was in one and left right way but not many women are able to do this...She will need to be strong and that's up to her.
What did help me was getting involved in things he was not and then we never saw each other.
The other thing that help me so much was payer and my friends doing the same for me.

She should be able to realize for herself how bad this guy is for her, and what he can do to her...but if you really want to try and get it through her head...you could call up one of those abuse hotlines and ask where you could go to show her what men have done to women in relationships like that before...how badly they have hurt them or look it up on the internet about wht happens in abusive relationships...give her the statistics on deaths in those situations too...anything to scare her staright. She is heading down the wrong path and needs to turn back before she gets badly injured or even killed...I hope this helps and Good luck and best of wishes for her.

first thing you must keep doing is Be there for your friend, she needs you more than ever now! it's the correct first step she took dumping Him! but it may take 6 - 7 month's for Her heart to stop caring for him, most women i've found steel feel Guilty after ending a relationship, because (they) have a Heart! good luck let me how things go

She needs counseling. Some women once they are treated that way they think they deserve it. If she doesn't get help she will either go back to him or get into another abusive relationship. Just talk to her about getting help. Good Luck!!!

okay you need to explain to her that one day she wont wake up seeing the things she loves most...she'll be dead one day if she doesn't get away from that.. and tell her if he really loved her he would repect her and treat her right...there is thousands of young guyz out there and im sure they would love to have a girlfriend like her..
