Yes!! We should have never gone in the first place. Unfortunately we did, but we should have got out when Mr. Bush stated "Mission Accomplished". We are doing good things there and the media does overshadow the positive with the negative. However, there is no reasonable justification to keep supporting Iraq when we are losing lives and draining our monetary and emotional resources. The only people prospering are employees of Haliburton and U.S. government officials who receive kickbacks. Haliburton employees are getting paid between $75,000 - $250,000 a year while our troops are lucky to be getting $40,000 and the troops are the ones enduring all of the wraith. We helped Iraq enough. Some of them want us there, most don't. There comes a point when Iraq needs to take care of themselves. We are not stopping terrorism by maintaining our presence in Iraq-Big Myth. How many more lives need to be lost? How much more debt accumalation can the U.S. bear? Why is Bush still in office!?

Well you answered your own question but I say YES as well. The civil war that's going on there is between the Shiites & Sunnis for control of the country. Where will it lead?? Who knows, maybe a country divided into 3 sections or maybe one ruling over another. We went to Iraq because of WMD's and then it was to free the people from Saddam's regime. Why are we still there?? We're not giving these people enough credit for their own intelligence. They will sort it all out and in the meantime more lives will be saved and BILLIONS of dollars as well. Maybe the Iraqi people don't want a "democracy" like we have. Shouldn't they ultimately be the ones to decide that for themselves? And I don't believe the terrorists will follow us to America when we leave. I believe that's just a scare tactic. That's my opinion.

Absolutely NOT! If the United States of America withdraw all of its troops from Iraq, the country will slip into chaos and Democracy might never take place in Iraq and the Terrorist WILL WIN and the United States of America WOULD HAVE LOST.

Americans are never happy. They always have something to complain about. If America didn't go to war after 9/11 they would be complaining about not going to war, not doing something about the attacks. Be proud of your country, support your President, but most of all support your troops. You have no idea how down they get when you all are complaining about what they are doing, you are not out there putting your life at risk. They are. They need some motivation. Ask the troops what they think, they don't put their President down.

Please don't ask and answer your own Question. You seem hung up on the monetary end of war. You have some good points BUT I do believe Mr. Bush when he says we would be fighting this war on our streets if we abandon the Iraqi people now.
Ask any Vietnam Vet and see how they feel about "Quitting" a war when it could have been won!
God Bless Our Troops

Stupid question!!! Get out and allow all of our troops that have died and been maimed there to have done it all in vain? That does not show any support for our troops that believe they are doing the right thing. Besides, remember what happened in Vietnam? The same thing would happen in Iraq but they would probably TELEVISE all the gruesome details.

If you think Haliburton employees are making a lot of money, check and see what the anti-war people are making. They are pocketing millions from little gullible dupes.

Yes. I believe it is about time. If you want to leave a few behind for additional support and service; OK. But it is time to drastically reduce our numbers there. I believe our job is done. That place is uncontrollable and we need to move on. They have thier government, officials, and new constitution. It is time for Iraq to be its own entity again solving thier own problems.
