I got married when I was 18 and my husband was 24. We are still married today (19 yrs./ Aug.29). It was definitely the BEST decision that I ever made. He gave me two wonderful kids 17 & 14. Our love grows deeper and stronger every day and we look forward to growing old together. Don't get me wrong, It hasn't always been a bed of roses and it takes a lot of hard work, patients, and understanding (on both our parts), but our love is worth it. LOVE is always worth it!!!

P.S. We only dated for 3 months before we got married...Sometimes you just know...WE DID!!!

I got married at age 22 in 2000, still married, at times I think it was the worse decision I made, but it happened and I just have to deal with it the best way I know how.

I read a study done about old people who reported themselves as happily married and the largest significant factor was that they had married the wife of their youth. They might have married them real early (you know in the last century if a female was not married by 15 she was called an old maid, spinster etc.) or somewhat latter not as important but it was the person that they loved in early school years and they married them early on.
Another highly rated factor was the reason people got married and the highest reported was that they both married because they want to love the other person as opposed to they wanted to be loved by the person.
For me I have been married 3X 14 years each. I guess thats all I'm good for. I think I wear um out. Anyone of them would take me back for whatever that is worth. I only ended one of them. One was the worst mistake I ever made she was bi-polar. Gettin near 14 on my 4th wife.
Ya know there are good times and bad, you learn or you burn, better to have loved and lost than never to have loved, and if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I got married at the age of 18, have 3 wonderful kids, and still married. I must say though, that If I could turn back time, then I would most likely not do this again. We got married way too soon.

26
no
lasted 10 yrs
it was an important decision to stay and build a relationship with a man, and I would not come back on it. It brought me a lot of happiness and I learned a lot in the process, even if it did not work out in the end.

Maybe one day I'll try again.

I believe it is important to have enough respect for oneself and for the other to be honest at all times.

I was 22, my husband was 26. We had known each other for two years. This month we will celebrate 19 years of marriage. Yes, it was the best decision I've ever made, although it hasn't been the easiest commitment to follow through on.
