Well, you can check out Chomori; pronounced Homori in the mountains of Northern Greece if you want. I have about 250 relatives still living there and most of them are in their 80's and 90's.

Most countries have some sort of website for tourism and gives some sort of history--try greece.com also go to the library and find books on modern greek history
