It just aggravates me when I see these stars, like Nicole Richie, that have become so skinny that they look like theyre going to fall over and break. Why does society find that attractive?

Society doesn't find it attractive. The media likes thin because it shows someone in control. But if you drift over into anoxeria, then you are no longer in control. Something happens in the brain and you don't know when you've gone too far.

Because the media is portraying skinny women to be healthy when in reality they are not.

the media always portray beauty as being "white and skinny" thats why most anorexics are white. and now black women are starting to be anorexic, bleach their skin and dye their hair blonde. ( for some reason i always thought "anorexia" would be a nice name for a girl before i knew what it was)
