I live in Jamaica and i can't answer. I can tell u however that rastas are different from dreads and not all persons who adhere to the rastafarian doctrine and claim rastafari have dread locks. Not to mention those "bubbo mi bumbos" who can often be found down by Burger King eating a combo. In other words it would be hard to give a definite answer.

There is not a 10% ratafarian rate in Jamaica, that would equal 290,000 ,there are not that many people whom are rastafarians!
