where can I find explanations on the meaning of the evaluation given to players. I was given a 2.5 but what does it mean. I started playing two months ago and i live in canada if that helps.

the coach said something about it going to 7, 4 being for provencial players 7 being international pro's

I can't say anything definitive about Canadian tennis but I'll bet it's the same system as the States in this case. Here's the official explanation from the USTA.

I checked, and the only Johnathan on the ITF Juonior World Rankings top 100 is Johnathan Eysseric from France. If you are him, then by all means, drop out and go for it. You have a future. But I'm pretty sure if you were him, you already know that you are going pro, so I assume you are just some daydreaming kid that isn't even good enough to win a point against half of the tour pros. You are wasting your time. You're just an above average player at best. The only way for you to become a pro is go to college and have a miraculous, astronomical improvement there.

There are two methods.
One uses 5 as the best and the other uses 4.
I would guess that 5 is the one that they are using if you just started.
