If we censor a movie about our President being shot, we sanction censorship. If we allow censorship in that case, then how can we argue for our freedoms? We do have the freedom to boycott this movie and I think we should do exactly that. Unfortunately, people are infinitely curious and will see it specifically because it is controversial, and the producers will walk away with millions. But I choose not to give up my belief in freedom of speech and press, and will probably not see it. By the way, we don't have the full story until the movie is released and I hate to judge before I have something to judge.

I was watching Inside Editon yesterday, an they gave the response to the movie given by the White House, and they said that the movie is not good enough and it is so disgracefull that it doesn't even deserve a comment. So I guess my answer would be that the United States government will just ignore that British jerk and even if the movie does make it to American viewers, I don't think it will get many good ratings, even with the hippie liberals that we have.

Yes, I saw the story and the picture of a Secret Serviceman protecting Bush and I was intrigued. If someone wanted to, the president would've already had attempts to end his life. This film is not going to give people ideas how to do it. It starts after the former president is assassinated. As is my understanding.

first of all, you have to ask, allowed by whom and allowed where

the U.S. government couldn't possibly ban a movie in a foriegn country even if they wanted to

and of course, it won't be banned here either

its not a big deal, there are lots more gruesome movies than that out there

whether I would like someone to make a film of me being shot is irrelevant

public figures should expect that sort of thing
unpopular public figures always get that thing
and President Bush is one of the most public figures on earth, and in many parts of the world, one of the most unpopular

It should be allowed - free speech and all that

I'd don't see a moral problem with it if the tone of the film is even-handed.

film about me being shot - I think they'd lose money due to lack of interest but it would be kinda spooky

I don't like the idea of this film. It has the potential to inflame and incite. However, I am also an advocate of free speech. I don't believe in banning films.

No, it shouldn't be allowed, and I think, despite what the author said his motives for creating such a film are, are actually backed by his anti-Bush agenda he and so many other brainwashed lefts/libs share.
