Believe it or not.....AMD is actualy better than intels pentium proccesors
but no its not the same

Contrary to what everyone else said, I did some research on this and the Pentium 4 is better. It has a a faster operating speed and although it is 32 bit and the sempron is 64 bit, 64 bit really isn't needed because not many programs use it. In fact very few do.

The Sempron 64 should be better because it is a 64 bit processor. The Pentium 4 is a 32 bit processor.

In priciple they are the same but the AMD gives far better value as opposed to the cost of the Pentium
