The whole of the country of The Netherlands is below seelevel, if someone messes with the dykes about 75% of the country will overflow...
Wild life we don't have here, but lots of crazy people, try to live with 17million people on a couple of square kilometers...

In NL we have the highest rating of bikes of course, when you hear "ring" on the street, jump aside, as there is probably driving a bicicle just behind you :D
The Netherlands has a capital, but the Queen and all government is in another city.
The Dutch people are known for their rivalty with the Germand on behalf of soccer. Orange-Germany is always a very hot match. They "stole" once a World Championship of NL by a schwalbe. We never forgave them that :)
The Netherlands has also the smallest city in the world, witht the most famous places of the Netherlands all together, Madurodam. Really worth while to visit.
The most scary thing about the Netherlands is probably that most of the country is below sealevel. So if the dikes break, all NL is under water almost! I hope you can swim...

...Yeahhh how scary are you? All over the world there are scary facts to find and/or to explore...but why you are looking after it?
I like Germany, because it has its beer. I like Italy, because it has its wine...but I like The Netherlands, because it has beer, wine and a lot of other mixed drinks. Moreover you can really swim, if the dikes will be broken...Scary enough for you?

If you are looking for such kind of excitement, you should avoid Europe! Europe, from Ireland to Russia and Portugal to Greece is safe! There are a lot of humans, which are the most dangerous species, but they have been trained and are better than those of any other part of the world (crime is the lowest in Europe!)!
