I think we all judge appearence at first glance. Its only human to do so. How many times have you been ask? What was the first thing you thought when you seen whatever?
Then after you talk to the person for a while, whatever your first thoughts were will be confirmed or denied.

Ideally, by the standards you should be applying to yourself regarding the way you look, speak, and act. It's often unconscious; when Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount, "Judge not, lest ye be judged," (Matthew 7:1) He's not forbidding us to judge at all, but rather warning us that the standards we use, flawed as they are, are the standards we will be judged by. Our judgments of people need to not influence the way we treat them -- we still want to be treated the way we treat others, and our conduct should reflect that.

Let's be honest here and lets say that everyone judges. Either what a person is wearing or how their hair is, or anything. Appearence is the number one reason people judge....

I don't judge people by any of those shallow ways. I've been wrongly judged myself by strangers simply for my religious beliefs and it can really hurt. What people are like on the inside is far more important than the outside. That might sound like an uncool cliche, but it is *true*.

I try not to go by apperance, but sometimes i can't help it. I always try to get to know someone then I judge them on their class, they way they react to other people, their morals and their sense of humor ( i can't stand overly perverted). I don't hate anyone for those reasons but I make a choice wether to hang around them or not. People are different, but it doesnt mean you have to chill with them all....

2 things.

.the ability to not judge others on the basis of predjudices..or simply because the other people arent LIKE them..or dont hold the same interests as they do..or arent as fashionable as they thing they are..ect.

and the ability to share in life with others..and not be so self-absorbed...especially when it comes to involving others In their lives...No One does it alone....so dont delude onesefl into thinking that everyone esle is only as good as what they can do for you.

By the way they treat me when they first meet me. If they treat me with disrespect then obviously they have prejudged me because I am a nice person. If they are nice then that is what I think of them, if they aren't then I don't want anything to do with them.

It doesn't matter how they dress, look, talk, I can read attitude in a person's face. And if I perceive a bad attitude, I distance myself from them.

I honestly don't judge anyone. If people are nice - they meet my criteria. People do what they need to do. It's up to you to decide who is comfortable to be around - and then becomes your friend.

dress has a lot to do with it. Allthough God clearly states that he is the only one that can see mans true intent.
