I had posted a question earlier this week about a ignition problem. Took it to a mechanic and they fixed it but now my factory TachMeter isn't working. It worked before and now they won't stand behind there work. How easy will it be for me to fix this problem? Its a 1990 Acura Integra. Can anyone tell me how many wires there is and where its connect to from the Tach? Its a 5 speed if that help.

Goto AutoZone and pick up a $15 Haynes manual for you car. There is a wiring diagram in it. Your facotyr tachometer is electronic-pickup, not cable. In the manual you see the ECU (engine computer) and there will be a wire labeled Engine speed pickup or RPM or something along those lines (manufactures like to change the wording of things to make themselves feel special. Or to confuse people, whatever.) OR, you can look at the diagram for the wires coming out of your tach. There should be a 12-volt power wire, a ground, and an RPM pick-up, possibly more than that, but you only need the rpm pickup more than likely. Trace the wires to the harness in your dash and make sure the connection is solid. Does your tach light-up anymore, or is the needle just not moving?
If all the wires are OK, then you probably have a bad tach.
