That depends on where you are, because not all eclipses are visible from everywhere on Earth. The next solar eclipse is on August 1, 2008, but visible only in central Asia and the Arctic. The next solar eclipse with a path of totality crossing the United States will be on August 21, 2017. The next lunar eclipse visible in the United States will be on March 3, 2007, and the moon will rise while in eclipse; only observers in Europe and Africa will see the entire eclipse.

The next Lunar Clipse (sic) is on Thurs., Sept. 7. The next SOLAR Clipse (sic) is on Fri., Sept. 22.
