I encourage you not to worry about this. As your baby is growing, there is less room in there to move around, I'm sure everything is fine. They do sleep most of the time.

As far as something that you can do to make her move, get up and dance around and sing, that aught to wake her up!

From my experience, the doc's ask that you drink a glass of something very cold and then lay on your left side to see if it gets baby moving. If this doesn't work we always have them call the office and most of the time come in for fetal heart tones or ultrasound depending on the situation.

It is true caffeine might help the baby to move but it is not recommended since caffeine could be harmful to the baby in large amounts...This is a problem i see in a lot of new mothers....if after 24 hours your baby still has not moved then see your doctor...until then try not to worry. Im sure it is fine...:)

hi, what i found that worked was feel your baby with your fingers, dont worry this wont hurt him/her,when you feel a bone or something try and move baby with your fingers then to get a best feel if he moves hold your breath so your stomach not moving with your breathing then hold your hand on baby for few seconds,if that dont work try laying in the bath and swishing water on your bump, most babies have there sleepy days and i no how worring it can feel!! if you cant feel any movement by tommorrw then give your gp a visit to put your mind at rest.all the best

My doc told me to drink 8oz of juice and lay down in a quite place for about 30 min to an hour. That way I could concentrate on the movement better. Sometimes we are so used to the movement that we dont feel it. He also said that if I didnt feel ne movement for a total of 24 - 48 hours to come and see him. Sure enough the juice and laying down in a quite area worked for me. Hope it works for you!! :)

I was told to drink something sweet like juice and lay on your left side. I would call doc if the baby still doesn't move.

drinking orange juice or eating anything high sugar will wake up a "sleepy" baby. if you are sure the baby hasn't moved in a whole day, call your doctor!

Take a hot shower...and drink some orange juice....but for real satisfaction...I would go to your doctor...I had the same thing happen to me...but come to find out after the ultra sound that everything was ok...but you will drive yourself nuts until then.

uh, wow, I would suggest getting an ultrasound, but to make the baby move I guess poke at it, drum on your belly, oooh eat spicy food. Seriously I have no idea, I strongly suggest getting an ultrasound though!!!!!!
