Yeah, blu ray is hd dvd, i don't know what the first guy was talking about. PS3 is going to be the industry standard as it was for the past 2. All of the independent game developers love Sony and will continue to work with them. That is what the PS2 had more games then the XBox and the PS3 will have more games than the 360. The price is quite a bit though $600 but its about the same as 360 (unless you want the crap 360 with no hard drive and wired controllers). The WII has everyone guess though it could be a hit or it could be a flop.

Do Not get the PS3 until i tbecomes cheaper thats the only downfall too it because it has a Blu-Ray Drive whereas Xbox 360 is going to use the HD-DVD format which is cheaper but cannot store more space than a Blu-Ray
Im going to go for Wii because- well they make the best games!

everything I've read says the PS3 and XBox 360 are about equal, with only a slight edge to PS3
however, the PS3 will come in two versions: $499 & $599; the XBox 360 is $299 and $399
the PS3 isn't $200 better...$50 maybe, but not any more than that

I have been answering sooo many of these questions.!! Anyway, Wii is the way to go because you basically live you're games this time! PEOPLE OF THE WORLD!!!!! HERE ME!! THIS SYSTEM ENTITLED"Wii" is just one step below virtual reality!! Nintendo is working their butts off for us. Please give them credit. Yes I agree that gamecube was not so great but Nes was right?,SNES and Nintendo 64 were all sooo good! And those loved games will be a availible for download on Wii!!In Zelda twilight Princess for Wii, when you swsing the wiimote, link swings the sword! Ain't that cool??? I'm buying the Wii and you should too.

Wii! Of course you want Wii! Haven't you seen the trailers on nintendo.com? It's gonna be the coolest thing on the market!
Not to mention it's not gonna be very expensive. I am so getting it when it comes out.

get the ps3 it could play blu ray movies where the player for it cost 1000 and you dont need a charger for the controllers

I like all 3, and they all have unique characteristics. I would say it depends on the player.
