One day he is okay then few days later he accuses my mom, myself and my brother for not respecting him . He got on my brother the other day going to a Ravens game with his friend. My dad can be very jealous and possesive. He is not in good health, but he is like that in nature. I avoided going to visit this long weekend because he get upset. I told my mom it maybe he is getting dementia or alzheimer's?

be patient with him. if he has early warning signs of alzheimer's, his thoughts may be confusing ~ especially to him! good luck.

i think maybe your father might have an illness and has not been feeling very well,and is not able to deal with it so he's become angry at the world and everyone around him,i went through that with my father,so i asked him if there was something bothering him and if so could i be of some help to him.

How old is your dad? It could be psychological, though, like bipolar disorder or depression. Try to get him checked out or counseled. It won't be easy, but if it makes him a better person, then you need to do it.

Is your dad a vietnam war veteran if so he needs counselling if not just keep your distance a bit away from him

Tell him the way he act is very wrong ,ask him to see a doctor,

you need to tell him, in a loving manner, that he needs to go see a doctor, this could be anything from a brain tumor to alzheimers.

You need to talk to God and ask Him to please heal him if anything is wrong with him. Ask God to please touch and heal his heart and as for you ask Him to give you understanding on what is going on with him and that this situation may help you get closer to your dad and closer to God. With God everything is possible.
