I was just wondering it is is at all possible to lose your virginity to a dildo. And what happens when you lose it.

I don't plan on losing it that way, I don't even own a dildo, I was just wondering what people thought.

That depends on how you define virginity. You could define it by losing your hymen (or "popping the cherry") but that can happen if you use a tampon, ride a horse, or even fall down really hard. Some people define virginity by whether or not they've had sexual intercourse and a penis has entered the vagina. In my opinion, masturabation with a dildo does not take away your virginity, even if your hymen were to break, but that is because I define virginty by the lack of sexual intercourse. So...I guess it's really up to you. Some would say yes, and some would say no.
As for what happens when you break your hymen, sometimes it hurts and you bleed a little, and sometimes nothing much happens. It all depends on how thick the hymen is and how in tact it is when it finally gives. It could be ripped due to tampons (or any of the things that I listed above as a way to break it) and when it fianlly goes, you may not even notice.

you can break your hymen with a dildo, yes, if that's your definition of a virgin. but most people define losing virginity as having sex WITH someone...
what would happen is you would probably bleed slightly and have some pain but that's all

Sticking something in your vagina does not mean you have lost your virginity. Anybody that believes that is not an adult. Your virginity is ethereal, it is not a substance. You could never have anything in there, but to me if you suck a guy of or the like, then you have lost your virginity. Playing with yourself is not the same thing. Guys do it, they just use their hand. does that mean they have lost their virginity?

if u insert a dildo, u can break the hymen, so technically yes. my former roomamte took a girls 'virginity' with a brush handle. it may not be normal penetration but if it goes in, it goes in.

You would probably bleed a little but at least you wouldn't have to worry about getting pregnant or catching a STD or having to make breakfast in the morning for the guy.

I guess although "physically" you can say you've lost your virginity...i'll say you need to have actual intercourse before you lose your VIRGIN status...:)...wht happens when you lose it? depends on the type of hymen you have(elastic /rigid/lack of hymen due to accident/chronic irritation etc.etc)-there may or maynot be bleeding...and yes,there'll probably be wonderous heavenly music playing...:D
