It sounds like it could be the very beginning of your period. Do you mean you haven't ever had a period before in your life or just this month? If you are just hitting puberty, then I would say to ask your mom or another older female in your family. If you are sexually active, it could be implantation bleeding and you may be pregnant. I would guess it is your first period though.

The only thing I can think of is you may have spotted just a little bit and it has mixed with your natural discharge and made that odd color. Wait till after your period and if it persists go to a doctor.

If it smells fishy you might have BV (bacterial vaginosis). Drink more water and don't douche. Your body should be able to fight this infection, but if not, then you may need an antibiotic.
