Do him a favor: stop being his friend. Now I know that sounds mean. Women often think that they can turn a guy that likes them into a friend and that it's mean not to try. On the contrary, what they do is take someone who they know has feelings for them and helps those feeling florish by spending time with him in person or on the phone, etc. Then they make him watch as they date other guys that 9/10 times are not nearly as interested in them as their "friend" is. And they complain about it and go "Why are good men so hard to find?" and your friend says, "I'd be good to you" and you go "But you're just my friend?" Its classic. Happens all the time. Do him a favor and get rid of him. In the long run, it will save him some grief.

Same thing happened to me! I just kept telling him that I only wanted to be friends. When he didn't listen I stopped answering the phone when he called and replying to his emails. He finally got the point but it's still kind of weird. I can never hang out with or even talk about my boyfriend when he's around.

tell him to come over to your house. And tell im you want to tell him something. Then let him sit down tell him you only like hime as a friend not as a boyfriend.cuze if you don't tell him things will go out fo contrle because if you meet a nice guy and you like him thhen if your friend comes and call you grilfriend the guy is going to go away fromyou and then for the rest of your life you might merry your friend. You should tell him that you don't like him as a friend you might hurt his feelings but everthing might be all right and he might find a diferent gril that he likes and you might find someone that you like.So tell him so you can be happy.

Just keep telling him that you only want to be friends. Repeat it like a broken record. If, after some time, he won't listen and respect your wishes, then tell him you can't even be friends. After all, you wouldn't want to date or befriend someone who won't listen to you or respect you. It would be sad to lose him as a friend but it is better to be minus one friend than to have to put up with constant harrasment from someone who is supposed to be your friend.
