I have a few number that keep calling my phone and when I pick it up, whoever it is, hangs up on me. I call the number back and all I get is a recording saying "you are returning a call to a pre-paid calling service system, and the party cannot be reached at this number" What does that mean? How do i find out who it is? Please help.

Who ever is calling you is calling from a pre-paid phone card and they dont have a number to trace it.. They dont have long distance so who ever is calling you its long distance for them...

whoever it is does not want you to know. They are using a pre-paid calling card so they can't be traced. I don't know if you call the phone co they may be able to tell you the phone that the call came from but I bet it's a phone booth or someone Else's phone.

If you think it might be someone from your past or whatever...I would turn my mailbox off & not answer if you dont know the number, dont complain about it to friends, it may be a joke they are playing. If so be proud you are worth the money & time. But ignore it & when it stops turn your voicemail back on. You might have someones old number too. Either way they will give up when there's no answer & no voicemail.
