This is the rock howard jacket (4 cosplaying)

and it has this custom insignia on the back,

i bought a cheap imitation (black) leather jacketin hopes of painting it red and white and adding the insignia, but i dont know how to paint it(what paint to paint it with {cloths or accrilic}) or how to aplay it (my brush or by spray paint gun.) any one have any insight on the best way to do this?

Just get spray paint.

there are spray dyes for vinyl... I know because we sell them in the shoe repair shops. a jacket is too large to Paint by Hand. the spray will work nicely, but keep in mind, the dye may flake or look bad where it wrinkles. it wouldn't be hard to respray...just do it in a well ventillated area! Use masking tape to keep areas that you don't want sprayed covered.
